A return trip to the Pakistan Karakoram, this time to Rakaposhi base camp.
We have passed
Rakaposhi (7,788m/25,551ft) many times previously
en route to other treks in the region but this year we stopped instead of passing by. Unfortunately the weather was not
kind to us this year and though we had a beautiful start we were tent bound for almost 48 hours during a prolonged
snowstorm which curtailed our movement somewhat, so there weren''t as many photographic opportunities as is normal on
these trips. These are the best pictures I took and Rakaposhi itself tended to dominate.
