2014 - Namibia

I've wanted to go to Namibia for some time, and over Christmas 2014 Rashida and I went on a road trip. Dunes, petrified forests, meteorites, desert elephants, wide open spaces, massive skies… Fab!

Namibia is fabulous. I absolutely recommend visiting... Just make sure you go to Etosha in the dry season, otherwise all the animals hide in the bush and you wont see anything.

We flew from Harare to Windhoek mid December, and picked up our car and headed north. On Christmas Day we were back in Windhoek after driving nearly 2,500km in a loop taking in Etosha, Damaraland, Erongo, Swakopmund and Sossusvlei.
