In lieu of wedding gifts we asked for donations to the Chiedza Support Group, and in response you gave over £1,500 which will go a long long way in helping the kids in Chiedza. We’d like to thank you all for your generosity.

Chiedza is a life-skills course set up by Rashida several years ago for HIV-infected adolescents attending for treatment at the two main government HIV clinics in Harare (Harare Central and Parirenyatwa Hospitals). It aims to help adolescents develop skills to manage their illness, helps with school and college fees, and provides small business start-up loans.

Chiedza is registered as a charity in Zimbabwe and is an integral part of the HIV care services provided by the clinics.
